Tim Horton's Camp Day is on the go across Canada Wednesday.

Here in High River the two Tim Horton's stores have been busy since the crack of dawn as locals are contributing to kids going to camp.

Owner of both High River locations, Kevin Generoux says what he really likes about Camp Day is the chance to help out local kids.

"Every owner gets to send two children from the community. And we work with community services here in High River. Kim, my wife with work with the groups that personally select children, that we select to get a 10 day all expenses paid camping trip, with all the trimmings, and hopefully they come back with more confidence and more belief in themselves. That's what it's all about."

Money from coffee sales, along with other items for sale promoting Camp Day all go to the Tim Horton's Foundation, sending kids to camp across the country.
