A man charged with being in possession of stolen goods found in a tunnel in a Calgary home now faces charges in connection with four break and enters in High River.

Constable John Rotheisler says he got a call from Calgary police after they recovered some of the property and checked serial numbers on some of the stolen items and traced them to High River break-ins.

The Calgary Police Service has catalogued the recovered property and are looking to return items to their respectful owners.  A photo gallery has been set up on Flickr:

"He is also involved in a number of break-in's in Calgary, so he is in remand on those counts and I was able to go up and interview him last week and he basically me about the break and enters he had done here, he admitted to four break and enters in the town of High River," Cst. Rotheisler says. "That corresponded with some of the property that Calgary (police) had recovered so we were able to lay charges on four counts of break and enter here in town."
