The 15th annual Calgary Dream Centre Radiothon has set a goal of raising $150,000 on Thursday, October 4.

The faith-based recovery organization works to help people escape the cycle of homlessness and addiction.

They raise money and awareness every year during their radiothon to put towards their three phase approach of addiction recovery, transitional housing and long term affordable housing.

Join AM 1140 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for heart warming stories from people that have struggled with homelessness and addiction.

The Centre at 4510 Macleod Trail South is also hosting a BBQ at noon.

To donate you can call 403-214-5490 or online.
