The 25th Brant Christian School Fundraising Gala goes Saturday night at the Highwood Memorial Centre.

Erin Niemans says so far ticket sales have gone well.

"We are just under 300 for the evening so we're excited, it pretty much fills up our goal that we had hope to reach for people coming back together to help us raise money," she says. "Mostly we look for it to go into our Christian programming, be we have also added new programs over the last two or three years and have built up a science lab, a music, band room, drama for high schoolers and junior high and more sports teams are coming up with some of the fundraising we've been doing."

She says the highlight is the bidding that goes on for some of the live and silent auction items. But there's something new this year.

"his year we added a Lego school that we would love to see built with the potential for adding on with portables or adding on to the school or renovations that have to be done and so that's another way we thought people could contribute if they aren't quite in to the auction mode, they could help build the school piece by piece by buying Lego bricks," Niemans says.

Set up is going on Friday morning until noon and tickets can be purchased at the Highwood Memorial Centre at that time.
