Foothills MP John Barlow was on hand for the presentation and says there's value in programs like the Boys and Girls Club.

"It really keeps kids out of trouble. We've seen in lots of communities where they have a healthy and vibrant Boys and Girls program the crime numbers reduce. Having this program continue to grow and expand is great for High River."
