The Province is taking reservations for summer camping starting Tuesday, February 21.

Tim Chamberlin with Alberta Parks says getting your spot is just a click away.

"People just need to go to reserve.albertaparks.ca, which is the online reservation system. And they can go find a park, reserve a spot and process payment for their spot as well."

He says for those on the go you can also use your smart phone to reserve a spot.

There's no app, but you can again use the reserve.albertaparks.ca website to get your spots.

He says they saw a record number of bookings for comfort camping spots when reservations for that opened last week, and he's expecting the same for regular camp spots this week.

Another thing to keep in mind is these are reservations for Provincial Parks and provincially run camping areas, not National Parks like Banff or Waterton.
