While not exactly "hopping mad" Black Diamond Mayor Glen Fagan won't be hosting any parties praising the Provincial Government these days.

He's less than impressed that both his town and Turner Valley have been shut out of any talks regarding growth management boards for Southern Alberta, simply because their populations are below 5,000 people.

"Their response back at the time to the letter that we sent was, you will absolutely not be sitting at the table. And when you are at the table you will be invited to come and offer your suggestions, but you will not be getting a voting privilege."

The M.D. of Foothills will instead represent both Towns at meetings which will decide regional planning issues.
