There will be teddy bears flying through the air at the Dawgs game at Seaman Stadium for the new Teddy Bear Toss on June 4th.

Well, maybe not quite that dramatic, as stuffed animals landing on red shale might not be such a good combination.

So they have gathered together a bunch of bins for fans to toss the stuffies into.

Communications Coordinator Dustin Saracini says they have been working on having a toss for awhile and it finally came together.

"It is something new and introduced this year," said Saracini. "We were trying to set up the logistics of it for awhile. We didn't know whether they were going to throw them on the field, or throw them on the concourse, so we actually ended up just grabbing some bins."

"It is more about who is receiving the bears, rather than where we are throwing them."

He added it is a great opportunity for fans to come out and be a part of something great.

The bears will be donated to Ronald Mcdonald House and local charities.

"Come in and take in a Dawgs game, there's not much better and yesterday (Friday) we won in walk-off fashion so there is not much better than coming out to a Dawgs game right now."

The Dawgs host the Edmonton Prospects, the game gets underway at 2 p.m.
