High River RCMP are looking for information in connection with a house fire January 26, 2017 near the corner of 56 Street and 543 Avenue East.
Staff Sergeant Robin Alexander says fire investigators were brought in.
"We believe it was deliberately set, yes, we had some fire inspectors out there that had a look at it and it really is their conclusion that it was intentionally set," Sgt . Alexander says.
He says they've really just gotten started on the file but they do have some leads they're following up on.
"We're still sifting through preliminary fire reports and some interviews and we're going to follow up with some more interviews with with the owners and occupants and some persons of interest for lack of a better term," he says.
No one was at home at the time of the blaze.
