High River and Area First Responders pulled off another very successful Charity Check Stop.

In total, those who passed through the checkstop donated $6,290.29 in cash and gift cards and a truck bed of groceries.

Proceeds will be shared between Rowan House and FoothillS Victims Services.

All food items have already been turned over the Salvation Army for their food bank.

All the first responders would like to expressed their gratitude to those who made this event such a resounding success financial, and to those who through advertising or donations supported us.

Our thanks to Tim Hortons, the Alberta Treasury Branch, the High River Times, Sun Country 99.7 and AM 1140.
