The race for the UCP nomination in the Livingstone-Macleod Riding is a little less crowded.

Party insiders say High River's Justin Murphy has withdrawn from the race.

Murphy ran unsuccessfully for a spot on High River Town Council in last October's Civic Election, and was one of the first to declare for the UCP back in the Spring.

Three people remain in the hunt for the nomination.

Roger Reid out of Claresholm, Okotoks Thomas Schneider and Nathan Neudorf, who just entered the race and calls Lethbridge home.

The nomination vote is expected sometime in November.
