One provincial politician says he's been working especially hard to advocate for Albertans. Leader of the Alberta Party, Greg Clark, made his way to High River and Okotoks this week to discuss some big issues. He says he's making sure concerns like the Disaster Recovery Program are brought to light.

"I'm MLA in Calgary Elbow, and we continue to struggle with the DRP. I know that's very true of the folks in High River as well. I've worked very closely with the DRP group here in High River. They've been a tremendous help to me and to my constituents. I think they've done all Albertans a real service with their report on fixing DRP, what needs to actually happen."

Clark says the DRP is one issue that he will continue to fight for.

"The end-user perspective on the Disaster Recovery Program is so important, and so I've been using that and advocating on their behalf as well with the minister. I know that that'a a very important part of the recovery process that two and a half years later still goes on and that's a real concern."

He says both the provincial and federal governments need to help out with Alberta's economic situation as well.

"Jobs in the economy are a concern all over Alberta. It's just a real worry that we're in a very difficult time right now. We need the government to step up and help both federally and provincially and stimulate economic activity, get people back to work, and so we're going to make sure we push hard for them to do exactly that."

Clark says the Alberta Party loves to get people involved all over the province, and you can find out more at http://www.albertaparty.ca/.
