The Foothills Advocacy In Motion Society has a timely reminder we're getting closer to the end of the year.

They have calendars for sale as a fundraiser and Lisa MacDougall says the photos they received were simply amazing.

"Everybody on facebook, there was like 10,000 people who saw this competition and everybody that voted, people were getting 2 or 300 likes per photo and then the top votes were selected for this calendar," she says. "Things that you wouldn't really think to take a photo of, like there's a photo of a bridge out by Dewinton, that looks super cool when you justly stop and take a picture while standing on the bridge and it comes out amazing with all these crazy colours."

She says if they sell all of the calendars they'll make $7,500 for AIM which helps adults with developmental disabilities.

Calendars can be purchased at the AIM offices in High River or Okotoks or by going to their website or by email at lisa@faims.org.
