One of the biggest trade shows for farmers and ranchers is coming up this week in Red Deer.

The new manager of Agritrade, Dave Fiddler, says there's lots to see and do including some hands on opportunities with machinery.

"There's the ride and drives too, one of the unique things about this show is you get to get on some of the tractors and drive them around and see how they work," he says.

Fiddler says it's a great show to be a part of.

"The show was in really great hands previously so it was easy to walk in and just keep things rolling," Fiddler says. "We've got a number of changes to the show in terms of the floor layout and some exhibitors moved around to different areas so I think people will find a fresh look to it when they get here."

It goes Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Westerner Exhibition grounds.

AM 1140's own Charlie Brown will be doing his morning show from there.
