The Williow Creek Cobras have one more home game left this season.

They defeated the Canmore Wolverines 36 to 6 in High School Football Tier Four Quarterfinals in Claresholm on November 11th.

Coach Tim Bryson says both teams came to play.

"Canmore fought really hard, " said Bryson. "They had a big win last week against Drumheller and they didn't give us anything. Our Offense struggled in the first half. I think we kind of broke their back a little bit with a long touchdown right near the end. Hats off to them, we played great defence."

He added the front seven is ready and the secondary is as well.

"We just shut them down. We knew if we didn't give up any big plays on special teams we would be okay."

Next week the Cobras host the W.R. Meyers Rebels from Taber for the Provinical Semi-Finals in Claresholm.

The two teams have played each other twice so far this year, with the Cobras winning both meetings.
