High River Flyers goaltender Chantz Vinck in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League's Player of the Week for last week.

Vinck back-stopped the Flyers to a pair of wins over the Three Hills Thrashers and Blackfalds Wranglers over the weekend.

Vinck turned aside 27 shots in the Flyers 8-0 win Saturday, November 3 in Three Hills.

Then Sunday, November 4, he saved 43 of 45 shots in regulation and overtime, and then stopped 11 of 12 shooters in the shoot-out to give the Flyers the win 4-3 in Blackfalds.

It's the second time this season Vinck has been named the HJHL Player of the Week.

The Flyers are in Medicine Hat Friday, November 9 to face the Cubs, and then home to the Stettler Lightning Saturday, November 10 at 8 o'clock at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.
