However, after tieing up the game in the second period, the Oilers sealed the deal in the final third of the game, beating the Mustangs 3-2.

With last nights second consecutive victory, the Oilers managed to even up their wins and losses in the pre-season with a 2-2 record.

The Oilers kick off their first regular season game against the Camrose Kodiak's next Friday on September 14 at 7 p.m. in the Encana Arena in Camrose.
