The Okotoks Oilers had a rare loss falling two to one to the Drumheller Dragons at the Centennial Arena on November 4th.

It was the second game of a back-to-back series, they won the first game in Drumheller on November 3rd 5 to 4.

Their season record is now 16 and 2.

Carson Beers says they are a tough team.

"They are gritty team. We thought they might have changed with the new coaching staff but they are still the same way. I thought we did well with the depleted line up. A lot of guys stepped up and played a bigger role but you still want those two points so this one digs in deep."

Beers adds they need to change one thing for their next game against Olds.

"I just think we need to go to the net more. We got all those shots but we didn't have a lot of net front presence. The goalie could see it."

Next weekend they are on the road to take on the Olds Grizzlies and the Brooks Bandits. their next home game is November 14th when they host the Calgary Mustangs.
