The Okotoks Oilers won both games of their weekend meet ups this weekend against the Drumheller Dragons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

The Oilers traveled to Drumheller Saturday night, February 25, and were rewarded by adding a 6 to 3 score in the win column.

The Dragons jumped out to an early 2 to zero lead in the first period, but Oilers tied everything up by the end of the second period.

In the third the Dragons only had enough fire to score once while the Oilers added four to their tally for the win.

Carson Beers got a pair of goals in the game while Tanner Landerout, Trey Degraaf, Nolan Thompson and Austin Wong added singles.

On Friday the Oilers won 3 to 2 over the Dragons at the Centennial Arena .

The Oilers entered the weekend three points back of the Calgary Canucks for second spot in the AJHL south division.

Next game is in Olds Tuesday night against the Grizzlys at 7 pm
