The Okotoks Oilers dropped the first game of four straight on the road, 4-3 to the Grande Prairie Storm Thursday, November 9.

Kyle Gordon staked the Oilers to a 1-0 lead on the power play, but the Storm tied it up before the end of the first period, then went ahead for good with three straight in the middle frame.

Zane Kindrachuk and Blake Wells brought the Oilers to within one in the final period, but that's as close as they would get.

The Oilers are back at it Friday, November 9, as they head to Whitecourt to face the Wolverines.
