The Okotoks Oilers ran into a hot Brooks goaltender Monday, April 2, as they fell 2-1 to the Bandits.

The Oilers fired 37 shots at Bandits net minder Mitchel Benson.

Oilers sniper Jacob Bernard-Docker, who scored the Oilers lone goal on the power play in the second period, says they just couldn't buy a break.

"Puck luck was really not going our way top say it tonight. Obviously Benson played a great game and their team played tight defensively, but we've got to be able to capitalize on more opportunities."

The Oilers now trail two games to one in the best of seven AJHL South Division final series.

Bernard-Docker says no one's pushing the panic button just yet.

"We stick to our game plan, you know the guys in the room know we're not worried. We're confident in the group we have and we're going to come out strong tomorrow (Tuesday) and hopefully the puck luck goes our way."

They play game four Tuesday, April 3, in Brooks.
