The Okotoks Oilers were brought down by the Drayton Valley Thunder in their matchup on November 10 in the AJHL.

The final score of the night was 2-1 in favour of the Thunder.

The Oilers didn't put a point on the board until the third period, when Dylan Holloway scored the lone Oilers goal of the night, unassisted.

Last nights loss has the Oilers tied in contention with the Canmore Eagles for third place in the AJHL's South division, with each team sitting at 25 points on the season.

For their forthcoming week, the Oilers will be facing two Calgary teams.

They're up against the Calgary Mustangs on November 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the David Bauer Arena and wrap up their week against the struggling Calgary Canucks on November 16 at 7 p.m. at home in the Okotoks Centennial Arena.
