The day four results for the WPCA Dawson Creek Battle of the North chuckwagon races have decided the finalists for tonight's sudden death final heat on Sunday August 12.

The four finalists who made the cut are Kurt Bensmiller, Vern Nolin, Ross Knight and Codey McCurrach.

While the day money goes to Doug Irvine with a time of 1:16.86, Bensmiller claims the title of the aggregate champion, with a consistent track record, after coming in second place last night for the fourth consecutive night.

Locals Jordie Fike and Jason Glass miss the qualifier for the final round by less than two seconds, and finished sixth and seventh place respectively in the aggregate.

Dawson Creek's fastest driver will be determined tonight in the final heat, starting at 7:30 p.m.
