The Highwood Mustangs Varsity girls basketball team got the regular season started with a win, beating the Oilfields Drillers 61-38 Wednesday, December 6, in Black Diamond.

The girls head to Okotoks Monday, December 10, to take on the Holy Trinity Academy Knights.

The Knights girls are 1-and-0 as well as they got past the Strathcona-Tweedsmuir Spartans senior girls 63-51 Wednesday night.

And the Knights boys beat up on the Spartans 91-43 in the late game.
