The High River Flyers are licking their wounds after coming up short the last couple of weeks.

Coach Tyson Avery says he's not too worried about slipping from first to fourth in the Heritage League's South Division.

He says it's never been about finishing first.

"It would always be nice to have a first round playoff bye, but it's not our priority right now. Our priority is trying to keep playing consistently every night, every shift and making sure that if we do that the wins will come and telling the guys that. And that's what we're working on."

The Flyers host the Cochrane Generals Friday, January 26, at 8 o'clock at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.
