Close game last night in Heritage Junior Hockey League action.

After three periods of exciting play, the High River Flyers trailed 3-2 and decided to pull their goalie with 59 seconds left in the third period in hopes of tieing it up and sending it to overtime.

Instead, they lost the puck and the Cochrane Generals scored an empty netter to make it 4-2.

The loss makes it 12 on the season for the flyers, keeping their season tally at 14 points.

They play again tonight in Ponoka at 8:30 p.m.
