A big weekend for the High River Flyers in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

They earned four points with two wins including one on the road 5-4 in Settler on Saturday, December 2, and 9-1 over Three Hills at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex in High River Friday, December 1.

Flyers league leading scorer, Davis Sheldon picked up four goals and three assists Friday, then added two more helpers Saturday giving him 53 points in 23 games so far this season.

The Flyers Connor Taylor also picked up a hat trick and two assists Friday for a five point night.

Next up they host Coaldale Friday, December 8, at 8 p.m.

The wins move the Flyers into second spot and to within three points of the South Division leading Okotoks Bisons.

The Bisons were 3-1 losers to Airdrie Friday, but downed the Blackfalds Wranglers 4-0 Sunday, December 3.
