The High River Flyers will look to get back into the win column this weekend with games against the Cochrane Generals and Ponoka Stampeders.

Flyers Coach Colten Hayes says both games will be a challenge for his club right now.

"Should be both good games. You know Cochrane has a great team and they're kind of pouring it on of late. I think it's going to be a good measuring stick for us, to see where we are as a team. Obviously with the amount of injuries we have, guys stepping up into bigger roles is what we're looking for."

Hayes says they're down a bunch of guys heading into the weekend.

"We've got six guys on the shelf right now and you know, it's pretty hard for a team to play with three lines and five defencemen every night and asking your goaltender to stand on his head as well. So, we're going to have to do it with what we've got right now and battle through it."

The game against the Generals goes Friday, November 16 at 8 o'clock at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.

Also on tap Friday, the HJHL South Division leading Okotoks Bisons make their way to Claresholm to square off against the Lomond Lakers.

Game time is 8:30 at the Claresholm Arena.
