With a 46-6 win over the Springbank Phoenix Saturday November 4, you can't say the Foothills Falcons don't know how to score in the snow.

Falcons Coach Darren Olson says it wasn't that they scored 46 points to move on in the high school football playoffs, it's how they scored them.

"The funny part about it that (quarterback) Tyson Pitcher had six touchdown passes on that day. So, we had six TD passes and only one running touchdown, which is kind of opposite of what you'd expect on a less than perfect day."

They'll have to do it again Saturday, November 11, when they host the Medicine Hat Mohawks in the Tier II Football Alberta quarterfinals, starting at 1 p.m. at Falcons Field.

In Tier IV, the Willow Creek Cobras are home as well as they play host the Canmore Wolverines, starting at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cobras Field in Claresholm.
