For the third straight game, the Okotoks Bisons and Coaldale Copperheads took it to overtime in their Heritage League South Division semi-final series.

However this time, it was the Copperheads coming out on top, beating the Bisons 5-4 to force a game five in the best of seven series.

This one was back and forth all night, with the Bisons Connor Tudor forcing overtime with a short handed goal in the final minute of the third period.

But it ended quickly with the Copperheads scoring the winner just 3:36 into the extra frame.

The Bisons lead the series three games to one and will try to wrap it up Friday, February 24 at 8 o'clock at the Murray Arena.

The winner will face the Cochrane Generals, who swept the Banff Academy Bears in the other south semi over the weekend.
