Canada's national show jumping team had some Calgary representation over the weekend.

Vanessa Mannix of Calgary rode for team Canada in the 2020 Nations Cup held in Wellington, Florida.

Mannix rose alongside teammates Beth Underhill of Schomberg, Ontario riding "Count On Me", Johnathon Miller of Perth, Ontario on his mount "Daveau" and Eric Lamaze of Wellington, Florida.

Her horse, an eight year old mare named "Kerry On" suffered a rotational fall, coming down on top of Morel.

She was taken to hospital, but died of her injuries.
