Foothills Falcons football player Tyler Going and former Highwood Mustangs Head Coach Brian Brandford are now world champions.

The pair were both part of Team Canada at the World Junior American Football Championships which wound up Sunday, July 22, in Mexico City.

Canada beat the host Mexican squad, 13-7 in the final.
