Saturday Oct 29 was a day filled with drama.

The WFG Masters event at the Pason Centennial Arena started early with a Women's tiebreaker with Allison Flaxey downing Kerri Einerson 6-2. 

Flaxey then moved on to the quarter finals in the 3:00 P.M. draw coming out victorious over the undefeated Kim rink from Korea. 

The winning wasn't over for the team from Ontario as Flaxey swept aside Silvana Tirinzoni 8-1 in the semi finals and now moves on to the finals against the Rachel Homan rink. 

Homan had a wild ride too with a tough win over Jennifer Jones 7-5 in an extra end in the quarter finals. Homan then moved on to dispatch Hasselborg 7-4 in the semi's to move to the finals on Sunday against Flaxey.

The Men's side was not to be left out in the nailbiter department either as Brad Jacobs first downed Team Gushue as skipped by Mike Nichols in the quarter finals.

He then faced the undefeated number one seed Steve Laycock team from Saskatoon. 

5-4 was the final in favour of Jacobs as he scored the final point in an extra end pushing them into the Sunday final at 11:00 A.M. versus Swede Niklas Edin. 

The viking shirt logo'd team got by the Epping rink in the quarter's to drop Reid Carruthers 8-3 in the semi's vaulting them to the finals.
