Some very strange things have been happening here in the Foothills lately...

No one can quite explain what they've experienced this week in the area or where it stems from but many took notice of the strange activities after Tuesday, (Dec. 7), night's meteorite appearance.

Around 9 p.m. a fireball streaked across central Alberta's night sky, creating a loud boom as it entered Earth's atmosphere and lighting the sky so bright many thought someone was looking through their window with a flash-light.

The, what is believed by experts, to be a meteorite wasn't seen by us folks down in southern AB but according to some we didn't miss out on the rare or unoridinary that night.

While scrolling through Facebook on Thursday, (Dec. 9), I stumbled across this post on the Foothills Area VIEWS & NEWS page:

It immediately piqued my interest and I had to know more about what "Axe" and his wife experienced that night.

I gave them a call and Axe, who's real name is Mark, and his wife Eden walked me through the event.

And for the non-musical types, Eden broke the feeling down in her own way as Mark elaborated on what they felt.

In search of some kind of answer on what was endured the night before the couple took to the internet.

Living off the 549 heading to Millarville has the local couple quite isolated, wondering if anyone else had a story from the previous night Mark asked a Facebook group well known in the Foothills area.

I'm not sure if it's more or less comforting that others also experienced strange or unexplainable incidents that night but Mark and Eden weren't alone and many theories came rolling in from the post.
