The CFR Chemical Triple 'A' Bisons are back on the road this weekend and it's another North Division road trip.

The herd face off against the Grande Prairie Storm Saturday night where they'll look to keep their unbeaten in regulation streak going.

Bisons Head Coach Sandy Henry says they'll need their speed to make it another win over the Storm.

"We need to keep the pace of the game up high and use our feet, move the puck and force teams to chase you a little bit that does a couple of things," he says. "It does a couple things in playing more defence and wears them down and by the third period you're starting to get the advantage a little bit."

The Bisons took out Grande Prairie at home last weekend 5-1.

Following their trip up Highway 43, the Bisons will head to Edmonton Sunday morning to battle the MLAC Beverly Optimists, but they'll be short staffed.

Okotoks native Peyton Krebs has been called dup to the Western Hockey League with the Kootenay Ice, while goaltender Hunter Young and Kaiden Hanas are on the shelf due to injuries.

Henry says it's just a next man up mentality with Bisons.

"We've got a couple of AP's in, we trust them and we'll insert them into appropriate spots and roll the lines out and I expect that from every line."

With a handful of games against the North Division instead of South teams chasing them it's sometimes hard to keep things on track for the Bisons.

"Those harder games are coming," Henry says. "We've managed to have some average efforts but with our skill we've kind of pulled out of the fire in those games. But to rely on that every night is pretty tenuous at best and when we play those good teams we won't get away with that."

The 12-0-2 Bisons face Grande Prairie Saturday at 8 p.m. and MLAC at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday.
