Not the start Okotoks Jean Quigley was hoping for at the Masters Provincial Curling Playdowns in High River Wednesday.

She lost both her games on the opening day, 4-3 to Inglewood's Heather Paul-Scott, and 7-4 to Susan Seitz out of the Calgary Curling Club.

She'll look to even her record up today with games again Monika Perry out of Lethbridge in the 8:15 draw Thursday morning, and Grande Prairie's Jean These in the 2:45 draw Thursday afternoon.

Seitz, Perry and the Carolyn Morris rink out of Edmonton are all atop the leaderboard with 2-and-0 records.

On the men's side Grande Prairie's Colin Griffith and Edmonton's Keith Morgan lead the way at 2-and-0.

Four other rinks, including reigning Alberta Senior Champion and former two time Brier Champ Ed Lukowich are tied at 1-and-1.

The men are back on the ice at 11:30 Thursday morning and 6 o'clock Thursday night.
