The Foothills Falcons got the better of the Highwood Mustangs Tuesday, September 20, in high school Junior Varsity boys volleyball action.

The Falcons dumped the Mustangs three games to none for their first win of the season.

High River's other team, the Notre Dame Collegiate Timberwolves moved to 2-and-0 on the year thanks to a three sets to none win over Okotoks Holy Trinity Academy Knights.

Both the Mustangs and Knights are 0-and-2 to start the season.

Out in Vulcan the County Central Hawks J.V. boys took out the Oilfields Drillers in straight sets.

The Hawks are 1-0, while the Drillers fall to 1-and-1.

In the Varsity boys match-up, it was a different story, as this time the Drillers came out on top, beating the Hawks three games to none in their match.
