PORTER, Susan Ann
December 16, 1951 – May 8, 2016

On Sunday, May 8, 2016 Mrs. Susan Porter of Nanton, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Country Hospice near Okotoks at the age of 64 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne; two daughters, Jodie (Byron) Wehlage of Milk River and Lindsay Porter of Lethbridge; two granddaughters, Brylee and Kinlee; brother, Gary (Jacquelyn) Romberg of Reno, Nevada and sister, Karen (Ames) Arlan of Nassau Bay, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A special thanks to sister-in-law, Judy Poeschel and family for her compassion and endless support throughout this difficult time. Susan was predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Bettie Romberg; as well as father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norman and Margaret Porter. The family would also like to acknowledge the incredible care and support received from the staff during Susan’s stay on unit 300 at the High River General Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 20th, 2016 at 1:00pm from the Nanton United Church, 2121-21 Street in Nanton. If friends so desire, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to the Foothills Country Hospice Society, P.O. Box 274 Okotoks, Alberta T1S 1A5 as expression of sympathy.
