Sunday road closure for Legion Show and Shine

If you can't wait for the annual High River Show and Shine in the fall, the High River Royal Canadian Legion has you covered.

The 1st Annual Legion Show and Shine will be held Sunday May 15. 

8th Ave, or Veterans Way will be closed from Centre Street to the East alleyway next to the legion. 

The closure will be in effect from 10 am until 3 p.m.. 

The Town has put out a notice that 7th Avenue S.E. will be used to funnel vehicles through for registration. 

Drivers may want to avoid Centre Street because of expected congestion and delays. 

Detours will be available in the immediate area. 

Residents are asked to have patience and follow all road and traffic signs.
