What an experience! Still in awe!

We headed to Eleventh Hour VR Okotoks First Digital Playground this past Sunday and I would highly recommend it!

It's so nice to have an activity centre like this in the Foothills. It's family friendly, perfect for corporate parties, birthday parties, girls/guys night out or just as something fun to do with friends weekend! They are open seven days a week and stay open late too!

You can play a game seperately or a cooperative/team game!

My friend Eben and I tried a couple of games each for 60 minutes. There are 20 games all together - so far! There's something for everyone and every age level. From space walks to Google Map adventures to zombies and a good ol' spagetti western! There's even an 80's dance party and paintball!

After Dustin Whitney (the owner) "strapped" us into two of the five VR headsets, we had three levels of VR games to choose from, Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.

And the adventures began!

What made it so interesting is how actually immersed you actually get!  We were tethered by a roof chord so we couldn't really run around, but we were running on the spot, ducking, jumping, punching, fighting off ogres and droids and throwing...I even threw the handle controller while playing a basketball game! Oops! But that's what I mean, you actually feel like you're playing the game.

Eben did the "HOME" space walk experience and he said when he "stepped out" of the International Space Station he actually felt his stomach drop as he  "floated" down and when he "floated" away and I even heard his, "Woah!"

We both were sweating a little bit after.

This is just the beginning for Dustin and 11th Hour Virtual Reality - they are adding in three more stations and a seperate room with a 40 inch TV for a bigger game experience.

It is so much fun!

Easily the most amount of fun I've had in a long time!
