The Calgary Stampeders put out their 2016 CFL schedule Thursday.

They kick the season off on the road in B.C. Saturday, June 25, but are back for their home opener Canada Day against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The annual Labour Day game against the Edmonton Eskimos has moved back to it's more traditional 1 o'clock start time this year.

And the Saskatchewan Roughriders come to Town just once this season, on Thursday, August 4.

The Stamps wind up the season on the road in Montreal Sunday, October 30th with the Grey Cup in Toronto Sunday, November 27.

In a news release from the Stampeders, team General Manager John Hufnagel says he's looking forward to the season.

"There has been a great deal of effort put into the creation of the schedule and I firmly believe the end result is fair to all nine teams and ensures competitive balance in the league, Now that the schedule has been released, we're one step closer to the start of the season and I look forward to seeing our fans pack the stands at McMahon for what promises to be another exciting season of Stampeders football."
