For the first time since 2008 the Calgary Stampeders will head into the CFL season with a new Head Coach.

Dave Dickenson takes over on the sidelines, while John Hufnagel moves upstairs as President and GM.

Dickenson says he's excited about the job and his coaching staff, but he knows they need to gel a little bit too.

"We've all been here basically. We've just got to see that our roles have changed a little bit. You know, just like players, coaches need an opportunity and they show what they've got when they get that opportunity."

Hufnagel says before they made the change, he and Dickenson sat down and came up with what each of them is responsible for.

"Dave and I have had many discussions about who's responsible for what. We have it written down so there's a clear path. The one thing we don't want to occur is getting things confused. We will not confuse the players and we will not confuse the coaching staff."

The Stamps make their way to High River for a Junior Football camp Saturday, May 28 from 11 A.M. TO 1 P.M. at Highwood High School.

They start camp the very next day.
