Well, it's all over for another year, The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth lived up to the billing this

year with great action, good food and fun.

The Rangeland Derby finished with a familiar face on the podium.  Kurt Bensmiller took his family

to center stage last night and grabbed another $100,000 check for his efforts.  Buddy trained Kurt

well as he has now won 4 Championships at the Calgary Stampede matching Tom Glass, he has a

way to go to catch Kelly Sutherland but in Kelly's words, "He is going to rip up the track for many

years to come".

Scott Schiffner rode his last bull on Saturday, retiring after being bucked off in the afternoon.  What

a great career and the Strathmore cowboy can hold his head high as he walks away from a heck of

a run.

I hear Dave Kelly and the Stage Show were awesome this year and I didn't hear one complaint of the

food on the Mid Way so it's a thumb's up I guess from all of the foodies.

Another year is in the books, for a listing of times from The Rangeland Derby last night check our
