The Highwood Golf and Country Club will show off six new holes Canada Day as the open up what they're calling the "Spitzee Six."

G.M. Graeme Kreiner says they're offering something no one else is.

"It's a very unique set up for Alberta and pretty much Canada wide. I don't know of any other six hole golf course. There's three par 3's and three par 4's. It's a perfect course for a lot of people. Families, those who are new to the game, those with a limited budget.  Maybe those where nine holes is too much, or not enough and also for some office and corporate outings."

The official opening is Friday morning at 10 o'clock with a ribbon cutting, ceremonial tee off, and a bar-b-cue.
