Daylight Saving Time remains in place and that means Sunday November 1, we turn the clocks back one hour.

Officially it's supposed to happen at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning but of course can be done anytime before bed Saturday night.

There have been a number of surveys and moves to either get rid of Daylight Saving Time altogether or to move clocks forward in the spring once and just leave them there.

But for now it remains in place.

Local Fire Departments also remind everyone that the return to Mountain Standard Time is a good reminder to check the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
