Environment and Climate Change Canada issued a 'Special Weather Statement' at 11:22 a.m. today, Monday March 18.

They're calling for 15 to 25 cm of snow this week starting Tuesday night as a cold front sweeps through southern Alberta.

Temperatures are also expected to drop to below freezing.

The snow is expected to start tomorrow night and really start coming down from Wednesday until Friday.

Higher snowfalls are expected along the eastern slopes of the Rockies.
