The Okotoks Pro Rodeo Magic Rodeo is such a special event.

2016 was the very first year for this event in conjunction with the Okotoks Pro Rodeo.  The Magic Rodeo is designed for children with special needs to come out and try their hand at being a rodeo cowboy or cowgirl. There were all sorts of exciting western related demonstrations and activities for the children to participate in.

From pony rides and roping dummies, to stock whip demonstrations and bucking barrels, everyone had their chance to feel like a real rodeo rider, even if only for  a little while.

Faces were bright and smiling all across the arena at the Okotoks Recreation Center. The Magic Rodeo is a great program and was so much fun being part of it!
