After a busy Fall session, Livingstone-Macleod MLA, Roger Reid, says he's looking forward to spending some time in the constituency for the first part of 2020.

He says it's tough to cover all the issues he'd like to in such a big riding, when he's spending so much time in Edmonton while the legislature is in session.

"I certainly have a plan to spend a lot of time back on the road through the riding, some office days. Currently we're planning some "coffee with your MLA events" after the Christmas season. Just for a chance to get together and share what's going on in terms of their thoughts with what the government is doing."

He says he's going to spend a good bit of January talking to local doctors, nurses, teachers and school divisions about the practical implications of their government's budget in rural Alberta.

"To get some feedback from them and then take that feedback back to the Ministers. We as government need to, and are willing, and will be working with our front line health care workers, our front line teachers, our school boards, to make the best decisions to make sure that the services Albertan's look to from us are sustainable in the long run."

He says he's expecting to be back in the legislature again in February where the UCP will put out another budget, this time covering a full year through to 2021.
