Cochrane RCMP may have had a break in finding out who's behind a series of break in's, thefts and vandalism of pubs in Priddis and Bragg Creek as well as at the Millarville Race Track.

Corporal Troy Savinkoff says they have photos of three people they say may have been witnesses and are hoping the public can help identify them.

"We've come across some people that we believe might have some information and we are treating them as witnesses at this point in our investigation. I can't really discuss too much on why we believe they're witnesses right now. But we are comfortable releasing these photos. Hopefully somebody can identify these people so we can talk to them and see what they know about the offences that occurred there."

Savinkoff says the case has been a tough one to crack so far.

"Throughout these investigations we do have several photographs and videos of some nighttime surveillance of these crimes being committed. But at this point we haven't had a real, what I would call, a real breakthrough that would quickly identify these people."

Savinkoff is hoping these potential witnesses can help them out.

"That's why in this particular case we're also reaching out to some witnesses that we felt may have been around the locations and hopefully they can help us out moving forward."

If you can identify any of the witnesses, contact the Cochrane RCMP at (403)851-8000.

The Turner Valley RCMP at (403) 933-4262.

Or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.P3Tips.com.
