September 11, 1924 – August 26, 2016

Mrs. Beulah Paul of Nanton, Alberta formerly of Fairview, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Silver Willow Lodge in Nanton at the age of 91 years.

Beulah was born on September 11, 1924 in Grenville, Quebec. During the war years she worked as a clerk in Ottawa, Ontario and the Fairview Hospital in Fairview, Alberta. On July 23, 1947 Beulah Welden and Cliff Paul were married and began their farm and ranching futures. Beulah became an instrumental positive force in all aspects of their life together. Beulah was also an enthusiastic member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Fairview Art Club and her community. Her passion and enjoyment of nature took her outdoors everyday walking in her countryside. Beulah was also an avid artist, spending many hours painting and working with wood. In May, 2010 Beulah moved to Nanton, Alberta to be close to her daughters and their families.

Beulah is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia (Terry) Thordarson of Nanton and Connie (Neil) Filipchuk of Calgary; six grandchildren, Tera (Kim), Paul (Marguerite), Jean, Peter, Laura and Amanda; four great-grandchildren, Kylan, Truce, Evey and Liliya; two siblings, Emerson and Isabel as well as many nieces and nephews.

Beulah was predeceased by her husband Cliff Paul; her daughter Dawn; parents Mary Gertrude and John Welden and 10 siblings.

A Private Family Memorial will be held. Beulah will be laid to rest with her husband Cliff in Fairview, Alberta.
